A complete, calcified Mercenaria Permagna shell filled with gemmy, golden calcite crystals. This thing is awesome. It's a special piece of Florida's history, both the ancient and modern. It's uncommon to see complete shell halves, let alone the entire clam.
Around 1 - 2 million years old, and from the untouched Rucks Pit piles Eddie Rucks preserved behind his farm at the original Fort Drum Crystal Mine.
