Pyrophyllite Specimen

An interesting pyrophyllite specimen.

The needles left after washing are very stable and do not easily shed, but they are soft and it's normal for a couple to bend or fall off.

Pyrophyllite from Graves Mountain, Lincoln County, Georgia, USA
