A nice little corundum crystal from Propst Farm in North Carolina. It has gotten incredibly difficult to find these as the property haa been dug and redug for years. The first corundum crystal was found here by a farmer and was brought to a local jeweler to find out what it was. It's kind of crazy finding rubies (reddish corundum) and sapphires (all the other colors) in a small town neighborhood built on farmland. This crystal is a combination of them both and, better yet, it's highly fluorescent under longwave UV.
